Terms of Service

Live, one-to-one online Spanish lessons for professionals — with a focus on medical, business, travel and everyday conversational Spanish — delivered by video call, together with access to a student account for scheduling, class balance, private messaging and learning materials.

You confirm you are of legal age to enter into this agreement, or that you have authority to enter into it on behalf of your organisation.

You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.

You must not use this website or the classes to:

• break any applicable law or regulation;
• commit fraud, send spam, or impersonate another person;
• infringe intellectual property rights, including recording, copying, reselling or redistributing my classes or materials without written permission;
• interfere with the security of the site — no malware, probing, scanning, scraping, reverse engineering or circumventing technical limits.

• Classes are booked through the calendar in your student account.
• You may cancel or reschedule free of charge up to 12 hours before the class starts; the class credit returns to your balance.
• Cancellations made less than 12 hours before the class, and no-shows, are charged: the class is deducted from your balance.
• If I need to reschedule, you receive a new time at no cost or your credit back immediately.

Prices are shown in US dollars on the website. A $5 processing fee is applied at checkout on monthly plans and from the third individual class in the same calendar month; it never applies to the trial class. Monthly plans renew automatically on the same date each month until you cancel, and class credits reload on that date.

Payment, billing, tax, invoicing, cancellation and refund mechanics are handled by Paddle. Please also read the Paddle Buyer Terms.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

I retain ownership of this website, the DB brand, the logo, the class curriculum and all teaching materials. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the materials for your own learning within the plan you purchased. Recording, sharing, reselling or republishing classes or materials is not permitted without my written consent.

I aim to keep the website and classes available and reliable, but I cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. To the fullest extent permitted by law, all implied warranties — including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose — are disclaimed.

To the extent permitted by law, my total aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 6 months before the claim. I am not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages, including loss of profits, data or goodwill. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury where such limitation is not permitted by law.

I may suspend or terminate your access in case of material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You can stop using the service or cancel your plan at any time. On termination, any unused class credits are handled under the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia, and disputes are subject to the courts of Colombia, unless mandatory consumer law in your country of residence provides otherwise.

I may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version. Continued use of the service after an update means you accept the updated terms.
